Welcome spring with the beautiful blooms of bright yellow daffodils and calla lilies, white and bronze herald. Visit the Botanic Garden’s Mediterranean Conservatory to see flowering bulbs and the first display of spring colors. At the Zoo, stop by Tropical America to enjoy blooming orchids and bromeliads.

More to explore at the Botanic Gardens. Experience over a mile of paths through a formal and unique gardens created to boost your awareness. Exhibits include 1920’s farm, Mediterranean and Desert Conservatories, Japanese and formal gardens.
Each summer, recurring orange and black monarch adults float through the Botanic Garden and wave inside the Butterfly Pavilion. A colorful selection of butterflies fills the Butterfly Pavilion. Examine more than thirty butterfly species from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily (extended hours on Saturdays and Sundays and between Memorial Day through Labor Day). The exhibit will be open late May through early October, weather permitting.
